My stay here on Svalbard has been great - in every way! However, I’ve only got two more weeks here before I have to go back to Tromsø and finish my thesis. I do look forward to getting back to a more temperate climate though - the Yeti in the picture above is actually me, walking home from school in -25° C and wind. Living on Svalbard is in many ways a fight; a fight against the elements, the cold and the dark, but when you realize that you actually do survive it’s all very rewarding.
